Communication on Inclusion

Superintend Nagi's Letterhead

HPS Families, Students, and Staff,

HPS Staff and community strive to work cohesively and provide a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment for all members regardless of individual differences.

My colleagues and I realize the negative impact racist behaviors have within our community. We strive to emulate values that empower students to rise above behaviors that negatively impact ethnic groups or individuals. We celebrate and positively affirm the diversity that HPS encompasses.

Our Professional Learning Community is dedicated to promoting respect for all individuals, whether a parent, student, caregiver, or staff member.

While such an incident can be divisive, let us use it to effect change and come together by not supporting hate commentary that is spoken, written, or implied.

Stand up and report such incidents to administrators, counselors, teachers, or other staff members.

Change starts with each individual. We all have a responsibility to ourselves and each other to build mutual respect.

HPS will not tolerate behaviors that violate the core values of respect for all groups and individuals that are a part of our community.

Mr. Nabil Nagi

Interim Superintendent
