Dear HPS Community,

Due to unforeseen circumstances presented by the sudden absence of the District’s Superintendent and the anticipated length of that absence, the Board must appoint a person or persons to temporarily perform the duties of the Superintendent until the Board can determine whether a long-term solution is necessary.

The Board is committed to ensuring the stability of the District and to maintaining the ability of staff to focus on the District’s primary mission of educating our students in a safe, nurturing and collaborative environment.  The Board will keep everyone informed of all the steps it takes to keep this commitment.
