Celebrate Hope Summer Parent Seminars

Celebrate Hope is hosting free summer parent seminars at Tau Beta, located at 3056 Hanley St, Hamtramck, MI 48212. These seminars are for parents and caregivers and will offer educational content, light refreshments, giveaways, prize drawings, and a chance to win a Family Membership to the Detroit Zoo. Refreshments will be served at 10:00 AM, and the seminars will run from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM. Attendees can learn, connect, and have fun at no cost.

The seminar schedule is as follows:
July 9, 2025: Healthy Families: Healthy Communication & Healthy Boundaries - Learn to model healthy communication and set respectful emotional and physical boundaries for children to thrive.

July 16, 2025: Balancing Work and Family - Discover practical tools for a sustainable work-life balance and to find peace and satisfaction in parenting. 

July 23, 2025: Managing Difficult Conversations - Gain skills to discuss sensitive family matters with children to build trust and emotional resilience. 

July 30, 2025: Balancing Love and Discipline - Learn to discipline with empathy and consistency while showing unconditional love and support

.August 6, 2025: Understanding Grief - Support children through grief and loss by recognizing age-appropriate responses and teaching healthy coping strategies.

August 20, 2025: Self-Care for Parents - Understand why self-care is essential and guilt-free, and learn practical habits to reduce stress and avoid burnout.
